The Sultan's School is a leading co-educational school in Oman offering a bilingual Arabic-English education from early childhood to pre-university. It was established in 1977 under the sponsorship of his Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said on a 4.8 Ha site in Al Hail south. This project involved preparation of a Strategic Development Master Plan for the Sultan's School to guide future development of the existing school premises, which is in need of substantial improvements to its facilities together with afresh image to identify itself as one of the most prestigious schools in Oman.

The Proposed master plan creates a distinct identity for the school, together with demarcation of the various uses (such as school / teaching areas , administration offices , residential, community , recreational, landscape and parking facilities) to allow for phased expansion in an orderly manner. The master plan proposes a new vehicular/pedestrian circulation pattern to improve safety aspects within the school, a landscaped entrance courtyard, and several new facilities required by the school curriculum, Such as a Resource Center, Performing Arts Centre, Dining Hall, Sport ground and Hostel.
